The papers can be submitted throughout the year. Articles which are in the scope of our special issues should be directly sent to the contact person of the corresponding special issue.

What Happens Next?

The primary focus of ICTACT Journals is the quality and integrity of the articles we publish. All submitted manuscripts first undergo an editorial desk check and preliminary plagiarism screening. Manuscripts that pass this stage are sent for full double-blind peer review by subject experts who are independent of the authors.

In the double-blind review process, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript is normally evaluated by at least two reviewers on criteria such as originality, methodological soundness, relevance to the journal’s scope, ethical compliance, and clarity of presentation. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations and comments, the Editorial Board decides whether the manuscript is accepted, requires revision, or is rejected. The Editorial Board’s decision is final.

Indicative Timeline

While individual cases may vary, ICTACT Journals aim to adhere to the following typical schedule, in line with the current average of approximately 8 weeks from submission to publication:

Initial editorial screening and plagiarism check: within 5–7 days from submission

Assignment to reviewers and peer review: typically 1–2 weeks for the first review round
