This paper presents a numerical analysis of the performance of a multi user (MU) – Optical MIMO (OMIMO) system based on the uplink scheduling algorithm in optical wireless medium. The proposed approach makes use of the A antennas and the ZF multiuser detector located in the receiver, which makes it possible to choose U users from a pool of Ut>U users, who transmit at the same time to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the shared radio resource they are accessing, in order to get the best possible reception. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated by making use of numerical findings that were obtained from Monte Carlo simulations that were carried out with 5x107.
